Limited Edition Images

Many of the images on this website are available as part of a Limited Edition Release in sizes from 6x4 inches (15x10 cms) up to 45x30 inches (115x75 cms). These are professionally hand printed using UV and daylight stable dyes, but they should not be displayed in direct sunlight.

The price for a Limited Edition Image will depend upon the size you require and how many images make up the Limited Edition Release. There are usually 10, 25, 50 or 100 copies of an image in a Release,  so the fewer the number of images there are in a Release, then the higher the cost.

For example, the smallest image of 6x4 from a Release of 25 would cost as little as £5, and a 20x13 from the same Release would cost £95, including my signature for proof of authenticity and provenance.

When all the images in a Release have been sold, then the original image is destroyed, ensuring that purchasers do indeed possess a Limited Edition copy.

Your Limited Edition Image is best professionally mounted and framed to display it at its best and to prolong its life. Click Here for further details regarding framing.

To discuss your requirements for a Limited Edition Image, either telephone or email me using the details on the Contact page.

Image Processing

This is carried out by a Kodak certified professional laboratory, Streamline Colour Labs in Cambridge, UK. Images are hand printed and checked for colour, contrast and density, and where required film negatives are scanned at high resolution onto CDs for digital workflow.

The Cameras

For digital imaging we use Canon EOS 5D bodies with full frame (35mm) 12.8Mp sensors, and a range of Canon and third party lenses. Flash is provided by Canon 580EX Speedlites and Metz Mecablitz 70 MZ-5.

For film we use Hasselblad H Series medium format and XPanII Panoramic/35mm bodies, each coupled to a range of their benchmark professional lenses.  Off-camera flash is supplied by a Metz Mecablitz 70 MZ-5. Where required, we also use 35mm Minolta bodies coupled to Sigma and Tamron lenses, and off-camera flash supplied by dedicated Minolta 5600HS units.
