Asda Supermarket Opening

I was asked to provide Press photographs for the opening of a new Asda Supermarket in Cambridge.

The brief from Havas PR included shots of the aisles inside, exterior shots of the people queuing up, head shots of the General Manager, the Giant Cheque donation to the Lisa Barnes Memorial Fund, and of course the business logo in as many shots as possible!

The local hero cutting the ribbon was the Vicar, Tim Albany Jones in the company of Robert Barnes (Lisa’s husband), Headmaster of the local Village College George Price and local councillor Colin Fordham.

It was a beautiful sunny end-of-June morning, and the first 200 queuing customers were given ‘Golden Envelopes’ valued between £1 to £50 off their shopping.
