iPhoneography

This blog is for photos taken using the iPhone4S 8MP camera. For such a small sensor, it produces astonishing results which can be enlarged to 10x8 inches without noticable pixelation.

The first 3 photos were taken a couple of miles from my home. I was looking for autumn colours as part of an assignment for our local camera club for whom we provide pro-bono support and workshops. Shots 079a to 082 were tajen inside Nor Design In Cambridge - great Scandinavian products on retro and modern desingns.

The WW2 Pillbox is in the now decommissioned RAF airfield at Oakington, and was taken from the Cambridge Guided Busway travelling at 60 mph. I have waited ages to take this shot, as the sight lines and passenger numbers on the bus aren't always conducive!

The Silver Birches are a beautiful contrast against the blue Spring sky, and opposite the derelict Portakabin shown in the next photo - beauty and the beast!

Taken in Central Cambridge, Sparky was an Electricity company employee using some electronic apparatus to test for something underground - probaly the location and depth of cables?

The photos were all tweaked in camera using Snapseed - a great image processing App by Nik Software.
