Just completed this month's direct email campaign to Brides from a number of bridal sources, so looking forward to hearing from some of them.
Anumber of our blog readers have been asking the whereabouts of Olivia who's been training with us since last September whilst studying for her 'A' level photography. Well this very talented young lady is currently deep into exams for all of May, but I'm so looking forward to seeing her again on 2 June when she'll be joining myself and 2nd camera Stephen for Nicola and Rob's wedding at Waterbeach Church Cambridge and Bedford Lodge, Suffolk. This will be quite a long day, with early 'Getting Ready' photos of both the Bride and Groom at 2 different locations 10 miles apart, the Church Ceremony, Wedding Breakfast at Bedford Lodge, First Dance and Hog Roast at 9pm. Should be an amazing day!

Here's some teasers from Jessica's 18th Birthday 'James Bond' themed party last night. She of course arrived in style in an Aston Martin DB7 at dusk, and our portable studio was busy all night, with beautiful Bond Girls, Blofeld, Odd Job and many others. A really fun night, and a big thanks to them all.

Loren has her new DSLR and wants to step her photography up a gear, so we're doing a workshop with her in Cambridge today - the crucial interactions of available light, aperture, depth of field and ISO. then maybe some composition if time allows. Looking forward to it and hoping the 'rain free' forecast is right today!

Today is Contract writing for new Brides-to-Be, uploading photos from yesterday's outing, then prepping and checking the mobile studio gear for an 18th 'Bond' themed party on Friday. Tuxedos for the men, outrageous dresses for the ladies - can't wait!
Also some minor updates to our Contract Terms and Conditions.

They're marrying next April at a newly registered civil venue in Ely, Cambs, and having now seen the range of products we offer, they need to see how much of it they can fit into their budget!

Here's four sneaky peaks from Clare and Chris's wedding at the beautiful Sheene Mill, Melbourn, Cambridge yesterday. Despite constant rain overnight and right up to 2pm, it actually stopped directly the service finished and started again promptly at 4pm. They were both fantastic and we managed to complete most of the shots we needed before the rain returned and the guests headed back inside! A huge thank you to them both and their families and guests, and yes, Clare looked gorgeous!

Today is Clare and Chris's wedding at Sheene Mill in Melbourn Cambs, with fellow photo ninja Stephen, and we're hoping for a couple of hours break from the continuos rain of the past week! When we visited the Mill a month ago it was in glorious sunshine and the river was dried up due to the drought - perhaps there'll actually be a river today! No matter what the weather though, we're really looking forward to their big day!

Good to meet up with fellow SWPP photographers David, Dinendra, Hayley and Diane yesterday at the PhotoVision Roadshow in Sopwell House St Albans Herts and finally put faces to the names! Cracking lighting seminar by one of my favourites, Damian Lovegrove, on his portrait style and lighting techniques.
